Visits the PSDIC

The Honourable Filomena Tassi, Member of Parliament for the riding of Hamilton West-Dundas visited the PSDIC on Friday, July 5 while on a trip through the Okanagan.  The Seniors Minister is one of four ministers under Employment and Social Development Canada, the government's fourth largest ministry.  There is no seniors ministry over se. 

She was visiting organizations that work with seniors to meet and  greet and listen to what seniors had to say about their needs .

Minister Tassi was greeted by President Don Wilson. Also on hand were Mayor John Vassilaki and Councillors Judy Sentes and Katie Robinson. While visiting the Centre, Minister Tassi had a tour of building, led by Sharron O'Brien, a long time volunteer at the Centre.
